When and why should I fertilize my trees and shrubs?
You should have your trees and shrubs fertilized in the spring or fall by a Certified Arborist or Licensed Landscape Pesticide Applicator. Applying nutrients to the roots will improve shoot growth and overall plant vitality. If fertilizer is applied properly via the deep root or drill hole method, oxygen and water will be incorporated into the root zone resulting in better plant growth and health.
